Our in-house materials are exclusive to Protektive Pak and engineered specifically static-sensitive applications. Combined with our ability to design and produce both standard and fully customized packaging solutions, we provide tailored support that meets our customers’ unique requirements. This integrated approach positions us as the leader for rigid ESD packaging solutions.

‍Q: What markets or  industries do you primarily serve?

A: Our solutions serve a broad array of static-sensitive industries - from electronic component and board manufacturing to commercial electronics, medical devices, aerospace, and defense contractors. We cater to industries where ESD protection is critical to product integrity and performance.

‍Q: Is there a product, process, or recent innovation you’re especially proud of?

A: Absolutely, we are particularly proud of our recent material offering ENDURA-TEK™, our extruded, high impact polypropylene with a unique honeycomb structure, providing exceptional strength and durability while meeting ANSI/ESD S20.20 and S541 packaging compliance standards.

We’ve also launched an Adjustable Stacking Tray using ENDURA-TEK™, designed for maximum flexibility, accommodating a wide range of PCB thicknesses and widths, while offering vertical stacking capabilities to optimize workbench and storage space.

A: While we offer a comprehensive range of standard, off-the-shelf ESD packaging solutions, many of our customers require products or designs that meet specific needs. Whether it's handling requirements, ESD compliance, or cost-effective solutions, Protektive Pak addresses these challenges through our diverse custom capabilities. By leveraging our expertise in design, quality, and responsiveness, we deliver tailored solutions that provide the best value for our customers, ensuring their unique requirements are met with precision and efficiency.

A: Protektive Pak is the rigid ESD packaging brand of Desco Industries Inc. Founded in 1989, the Protektive Pak brand joined DII in 2002.

We’re particularly excited about our ongoing efforts in ESD packaging assessments, aimed at improving ESD handling and compliance. Our goal is to help customers evaluate and optimize their processes and handling practices within their ESD Protected Areas (EPAs), ensuring better overall protection and efficiency.
